Hey people, for a few days I've wanted to show you my foundation routine. Well i finally wrote the post. Now this foundation routine has been the routine for about 3 years now. Everywhere I go, people do compliment that my face looks very fresh. So I thought I should share it with you pretty gals out there.:)
First thing first. MAKE SURE YOU MOISTURIZE YOUR FACE..
NEXT STEP: PRIMER!!!!
The next is a high end primer. Its the Fresh face primer. Yes this is the picture of the sample. Its Amazing!!! I love it, but it is very expensive so I suggest if u have a budget then go with the drug store brand.
Priming is a very important step. Primers create a barrier between your skin and the Foundation so your skin has a layer so the foundation can go on smoothly.. Primer makes a huge difference for a flawless face..
So I recommend you to not skip this step. There are other great primers out there. But these are the ones i use..
NEXT: FOUNDATION!!!:)
The Foundation I use is Neutrogena Skin clearing Foundation. Its oil-free. Its great for people with acne prone skin. My skin is not Acne prone. But this also great for people with combination skin. Which i have. This foundation is AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend it , but if you have dry skin, this is not the one for you. Then for you i recommend BB Creams or Tinted Moisturizers. because most foundations can turn out splotchy! This foundation is heavy coverage and It really does clear you skin of pimples. Since I have been using this I have no pimple problem as much as I did before. this basically clears you skin on the go. If dont want to wear foundation and do have a pimple. put a lil bit on the pimple and go. It will reduce down. But do not forget the last post DIY because that makes it quicker and easier for the pimple to disapper.
HOW TO:
I apply dots of foundation on my face. One in the middle of my forehead, two on the sides, two on cheeks add more if needed. One on the nose and chin. 2 Tiny dots on the sides of my lips. Jawline neck and chest where ever you need. Using the stippling brush. Blend from the middle of your face then outwards, because it should not be visible neaer your hair. This includes the eye brows. This is a full coverage foundation so it my night routine for going out.
For the day I like less coverage. So i like to take a just a little on my hand and add any SPF lotion and apply it with my fingers:)
For brushes. Luscious Cosmetics have great face brushes too. I had one. My sister stole it. :P
NEXT STEP: CONCEALER
Most prefer to put concealer on before foundation. I like to apply it after my foundation.
I absolutely LOVE my two favorite concealers.
FIRST is the CK creme concealer in the shade 205 Bare. Im more then half way through with it. It blends so nicely and is the perfect color.

NEXT STEP: PRIMER!!!!
The first primer is the Rimmel ''Fix and Perfect''.
Its tinted but it doesnt show up on skin.

FIRST is the CK creme concealer in the shade 205 Bare. Im more then half way through with it. It blends so nicely and is the perfect color.
Second is the Nyx cosmetics Concealer. This is really nice too. I just got it a month ago and I love this as well. It is the Above and beyond full coverage concealer in the shade CJ02 Fair.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHY ITS TURNING OUT YELLOW IN THE PICTURE BUT ITS REALLY A PINK TONE.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!.
HOW TO: Honestly Just apply where ever you think is necessary. I will do a tutorial on how to cover under eye circles with it.. I apply it with my small bobbi brown brush and blend with my finger.
NEXT: POWDER
I love the covergirl clean compact powder for setting my makeup.
I use a big fluffy brush..
My shade is 125 buff beigh
It seems darker in the pic but its actually not.
HOW TO: I tap the side of my brush in it and tap out the excess so it doesnt cake my face.
i just roll the brush on my T-Zone and cheeks and chin and above my lips and any where needed. Then just sweep it outwards holding the brush a little bit lower the black part.It just needs to absorb the oil on my face..
LAST STEP: ROSE WATER!!
Make rose water your BEST FRIEND! I love Love rose water. I use it daily. Everytime after I wash my face. I LOVE THE Saeed Ghani one. Any will work though. I have been using this since 5 years now.
But This last step is to set the makeup so it does not cake! My beautiful mom gave me this tip.
HOW TO:
Spray it from a little bit further then your face. You dont want to much on your face or it will wipe off the makeup. Just a spritz. then take a tissue and pat it on your face and neck. and VOILA!! Your done!!!
Your makeup is now flawless.:)
NOTE!!
If you want to apply blush and highlighter or bronzer, I suggest to do this after powdering.
