Dermologica dupe!!! DIY!! Daily Face Scrub!!

Hey guys I know I keep going MIA! But im sorry I have too much going on! :-/ My Tution Kids have exams going on. My root canal treatment has been going on, and so much more. I have just been on & off lately! Maybe its the heat! but that's okay!!! So lets get back to the topic! Shall we!!

Now before I show any DIY! I always try them out first, and check out the result! The Result of this scrub was amazing! This isn't My DIY just so guys know. This is my beautiful older sister's recipe! Shes a cosmetologist and shes one of my biggest role models. She told me to give it a try and share it with my lovely readers! So thanks FARAH!! :) I love it!!

Pretty!

Okay ladies this scrub is gentle enough to use everyday! and great for all skin types. My mom has extremely sensitive skin! So it was a thumbs up for her!! It gives you a glowing and fresh face, draws out all impurities!! Perfect for this hot and sweaty weather!
Now on to the scrub!

Here is what you'll need to make this scrub!

First ! Ground Oatmeal!!
I used Instant Oats.
Now Oatmeal has amazing benefits for the skin!
First of all. Its naturally soothing and calming. So its great for any irritations, Itchiness & redness.
So it has anti-inflammatory properties! Also did you know Oatmeal is full of Antioxidants properties so its great for anti-aging.
Not only that! Its packed with lots of minerals and vitamins! So its very very hydrating for the skin! And we all know our skin need extra kick of hydration! SO far so good!!

Oatmeal also helps balance PH level in your skin! Its very moisturizing and  Oatmeal has a chemical called Saponins! Which is for intense cleansing! And it smells sooo good! I want to eat this scrub!

Next on the list is Rice flour! or ground rice. Now rice flour is finely milled so I leave that option to you! I like a little course scrub! BUT NOT TOO MUCH!
Now everyone knows rice is a secret ingredient of the Japanese women! and their skin is beautiful and flawless!
Now the rice in this is going to tone the skin. Not only does it tone your skin, but rice gives you a wrinkle free and smooth skin.

Third on the list is!!! Licorice Powder! Now ladies, here in Pakistan we get the bark so ask for the people to grind it and make sure to strain it before adding it to this scrub! and don't try to grind it at home. It didn't go well and I cracked my new grinder:-/ so its a no no!
This should be a fine powder so make sure to strain! You don't want splinters!! Ouch!

Now licorice is a skin lightening herb! So this is where part of the glow comes!
Its great for all skin types! It helps with irritated, mature and uneven skin, Licorice is naturally full of  brightening and smoothing properties! Not only that but it helps to clear your skin too!!! Licorice is also great for hyper-pigmentation!! Which is one of my biggest issues.

Last but not least! Dry Milk Powder!!
Milk Powder  is full of natural fat! So its very moisturizing. It also gives the glow to your skin!
Not only that! This is also very soothing for the skin and that's thanks to the lactic acid! It also smooths your skin and the Alpha Hydroxy Acid helps penetrate your skin!

NOW This ingredient is not included in the original recipe. But I gave it a try and I liked it! but don't add this to the mix. Just add a pinch to the mixture when you really need it. I would prefer for a special occasion.

and that is
Baking soda! Baking soda is like magic so its good when you want the job done quick.
:)
I will be doing a post for all about baking soda. But no idea when yet! But I will! so keep an eye out for that!

Now ladies!! You know whats in this scrub! and the Great benefits of it! IF IT HASN'T CONVINCED YOU YET TO TRY THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL?

Now mix equal parts of all the 4 main ingredients and put it in a jar and place it on your sink! Mix it with your daily face wash or just water to make a paste and scrub away!! And let the magic happen!
I do this with my face wash and every night. Just because I like my skin more intensely cleansed at night so I don't have any impurities on skin while I sleep because your skin will absorb everything that on your skin at night due to the increase of body temperate while we sleep! So beware!! Don't leave your makeup on!

Final Look and just give a good shake so its all mixed together.:)
Please give it a try and tell me how you guys liked it! I'd love to hear from you guys;)
Bye Ladies!!

Makeup HAUL & Reviews!!!!

I've had a video up on instagram of the things in this haul. I haven't been able to get around making a post. SO let me show you. Now I've always been impressed with ELF Makeup but I never got the chance to try it out! Finally I got some products and let me just say, Para pa pa pa  IM LOVIN IT!! Okay AWKWARD! :-P

Anyways please don't mind I'm not patient enough to take the pictures first and then try out the makeup. I literally just dive into without a single thought, and plus I want to give you guys my thoughts and review the products. Soo lets get started!

Okay! The first thing I want to shoe you guys is the ELF Ultimate Blending Brush!
from their studio line. I can not say enough good things about this brush! Its amazing! It retails at $6. I've also heard its a dupe for the MUFE brush. The handle is black entirely. It has white tips of the brush. Its dense, SUPER SOFT! and just gives you a natural finish and no streaks! I use this in circular motions to blend out my foundation then at the end I spray a little bit of rose water on it and buff my face with it! Am I saying that right?

Any ways the only downside I saw was that its slightly shedding not much
but I wish it wouldn't at all. But for this price, I can overlook it. The handle is big so I have a better grip on how much pressure I use to buff the brush.

I give this a 4.5 out of 5!

The Catrice Allround Concealer Palette, has a transparent package.
Its small and takes very less room in my makeup bag. I love it!! It retailed at 650 rs Pakistani Rupees. It has 3 different shades of concealers from light, medium, to dark, and 2 color correctors, an Orangey Salmon shade for grey an bluishness. weird words :P and Green for redness. Great for beginner makeup artist. When I first got this palette I swatched it and thought that the concealers weren't going to give me much coverage but it actually did. Which was a surprise for me, because the consistency is very thin but it is very smooth and easy to blend. I can also mix and match the shades to  make the perfect concealer shade.

I give this palette a 5 out of 5!

Next I got a new foundation!!!! Its the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation and my shade is 081 Fair Ivory. It retails at 1200rs.
It comes with a pump and I love that about this bottle. the bottle it self is glass. It has SPF 18.not much but something is better then nothing. It blends beautifully. no streaks just like it says and it does give a glow to my face which makes me look very healthy. It says it has advance smart tone technology and sapphire radiance. I don't understand the sapphire radiance part but okay! I'm happy with this.
Its not too heavy or cakey and Its medium coverage. and I love my foundations medium coverage. Its light and blends easily. You can always build it up. I used it with my fingers today. I gotta say. You cant go wrong with this foundation. Any application will work! I've tried it with fingers, brush and sponge. and I really do recommend it.

 I give this product a 5 out of 5

Now I didn't buy this lipstick. I got it in my makeup class. This Is the NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick in the shade Sparkling Orange. It retails at $6, Im not sure exactly. Anyways its sleek black packaging with a little container thingy at the end where the color shows from. and Its VERY Orange and SPARKLY!! I like this shade. Its very pigmented and you cant feel the sparkles or glitter or whatever:-P Its very smooth.

We didn't get to choose the shade but I actually like this color. I didn't think that until I actually put it on. I haven't checked out the staying power of this yet or experimented ,much with it but as soon as I do, I will inform you guys!

I really cant give it points yet. But so far I do like it alot.

Next is the Oh so famous Urban Decay Lip junkie. Now this retails at $19 but my Aunt got it for like $5 on sale or somthing. So Thank You Khala(Aunt) for this! :) I love this. It has a clear squeezy tube and a pretty cap. I have 2 shades which are Jilted and Naked. In the swatches the Jilted is the left and Naked it right shade. These are sheer shades with shimmer. It has cooling effect, I think for plumping but its not as strong as the Soap and Glory MotherPucker lipgloss. Which it does say on the box, that it wont burn your lips and Just ;like it says its extra shiney. Its minty and Its not sticky at all! which I love about it. I have nothing else to say except that these are great. And true to what it says

I give this a 5 out of 5 too

Now this is an eyeshadow. Revlon Diamond Lust to be exact. We have great diamonds today in the haul! YAY! I think this retails at $5- $6 .
It has black packaging with a tiny window to see the shade and it comes with a tiny sponge applicator.
This shade is Plum Galaxy and Its Super Super Sparkly with lots of blue and pink glitter and it does look like a galaxy to me! Its very pigmented and very glittery. I like this shade alot. Again I still have to experiment and it actually goes on very smoothly.

I give this a 5 out of 5!

Now this is the a Revlon Satin Eyeshadow. In the shade polished bronze. I think this retails at the same price. $5-$6 . Same packaging. Now I already have one shade of this collection from before in peacock lustre. I love that shade and this shade too! its neutral Its beautiful, and the picture of the swatch did not do it justice Its highly pigmented. I actually wore this shadow today and it looked very pretty.

I give this a 5 out of 5 too
Next is the Elf 3 in 1 mascara. It says it lengthens, define and volumizes. I agree on the define and length but not much of volumizing, This mascara is from the studio line. Its a matte black packaging. It retails at $3 and you cant go wrong with $3.  I was actually very curious about the brush. Its bendy and has a ball type of shape at the end with spikes, It reminds me of the Dior Mascara and the Benefit they're real mascara.

I don't know about you guys but I actually think its a dupe for Benefit They're Real Mascara. It really separates the lashs and the ball thing helps to get right in the inner corner and the outer corner lashs. It separates the lashes as you can see. Its very black. And its not waterproof but doesn't actually come off with water where as the benefit one actually runs down your face. You can cry this wont budge. But if you rub it then obviously it will.

The only downside is that I can feel my lashes a little heavy where as the Benefit They're Real doesn't feel like that at all. But I do like this mascara. and I dont mind it because this is at $3 and benefit one is like $22 I think.
.
I give this a 4.5 out of 5

Now the next product I was very curious about was the Elf contour and blush duo in St. Lucia which said to be a dupe for Nars laguna and Orgasm. I haven't tried that so I don't exactly know. But this retails at $3 and its from the studio line. It comes with a mirror and its matte black packaging. which all the studio line products are I think. Anywho I was disappointed with the blush which I was very excited for. I don't know if its just mine or everyones is like that. The blush is just sparkles, not much pigmentation and very hard to actually swatch. It took me three swatches to bring that color to show as you can see on my hand at the bottom. So I use this just for a light glow on quick makeup look. But the bronzer has better pigmentation and both have gold sparkles in it.

The blush is a pinky coral shade with a gold sparkles and the bronzer is a warm bronzer with gold sparkles. I like the bronzer though. This product is just to give a glowy look.

I give this 3 out 5

Next is the blush in the shade Berry Merry. Its $3, same studio line. Matte black Packaging and It has a small mirror and a small window to see the color. I love this blush!!I cant say enough good things about this blush! I love the color the packaging the Pigmentation and everything!

The swatch is not doing it much justice, and in the picture it looks dark coral but in real its more of a berry shade with gold sparkles. Don't worry its not too sparkly and the sparkles are not visible on the cheeks but it just gives a nice glow. Its highly pigmented. Goes on smoothly, its finely milled and its beautiful. I think it would look great on all skin tones. For this price! Its a win win win. I highly recommend it that you ladies try this out.

I give this product a 5 out of 5!!

Next product is the ELF shimmer whip in Lilac Petal. This retails at $1. Its a steal! and for only a dollar!! You only need a tiny bit and its very shimmery and blends beautifully! Its a beautiful highlight and its a dupe for Benefit High Beam!
All I can say is that I love this product!

I give it a 5 out of 5

And LAST but not Least! The ELF  HD Blush!! Its just WOW!! I can not say enough great things about this blush!! Its a WINNER!!! Its $3!!! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!!! RUN RUN AND GO GET THIS STUFF!!!! It has a pump and matte black cover. Its from the studio line. Its in the shade Superstar! and just wow!!! I love love love this product. seriously guys I'm amazed. This is a dupe for MUFE HD Bush. This line of blushes doesn't have much color range., just 5 shades. If ELF people are reading this. Please PLEASE make more shades!! I'm going to buy all the shade so far!
Seriously guys this product is a steal!

This shade is a coral blush. You just need like half a pump and no joke its enough for both cheeks, like seriously go check out the video on my instagram. I'm going to make a separate video for this blush. One pump and a tiny tiny bead of LOTS of Pigmented color comes out,. This bottle will last a LONG time! I also use this on my lips. Its not cakey.

Its light like your not wearing anything at all. its a matte blush. but highly highly pigmented! I apply this with a stippling shade and blend it out super super quick because it dried fast and it seriously does NOT budge! It will not move at all!
I Honestly don't know what else to say. You guys are just going to have to try to this product out. This is only like $3 where as the MUFE one is $26!! THIS IS A STEAL!! Ladies this product is the saying " A little goes a long way" . "Less is more" way way more.

                                         I give this a 5 out of 5!!!

So That's pretty much it for this haul. I will have another haul coming soon! I wait awhile before putting up the hauls so I can give you ladies a review and my point of view on things too! Please do Comment and tell me what you think of these products and my reviews and what else would you guys like to see?  For now Bye ladies!

PS I have a surprise DIY coming soon!! I bet you guys can't guess                                                         that;-) I'm actually very excited to show it to you guys!!

Arabian Gold! MAKEUP TUTORIAL!

So I know I keep going MIA. But I have a surprise I've been waiting to tell you guys that!!!!!! I'm finally a CERTIFIED Makeup Artist!!! I've been so excited to tell you Guys and finally it's out of my system !! :-P I honestly could not hold it back any longer I'm so so excited!!! And now!! I'm back with another tutorial! I wanted to do an Arabian inspired look so here it is!!! It looks difficult but honestly its sooo easy!

Here's the final look!!

 LETS START!!
Apply primer! and apply tape from the bottom lash to the
end of the eyebrow, for a sharp edge
1. Take any skin tone shade and apply the color all over the lid.
2.Take a Rusty shimmery shade and apply it to the outer corner of the lid.
3.Apply a black shimmery shade and apply it on top of the rusty shade and the shade will peek through while the black will darken the look.
4.Take a metallic Rose Gold shade and on a wet brush, apply it to your lids.
When the brush is wet, it will intensify the shade.
5. Take a matte peach shade and apply it to the crease to blend out harsh edges.
6. Take a pale pink shimmery shade and apply it to the brow bone.
7.Take a black liner and apply it to the top lash line
8. Then take a black pencil eyeliner and apply it to the waterline and down on the lash line and make it thick! And then take a matte black eye shade and apply to the top of the pencil shade so it doesn't melt.
9. Apply mascara and take off the tape .
10. Keep your lips nude and your done!!

Here are the shades guys! And the star of this look is my absolute favorite!
