Strobing is Just like contouring but Exactly the opposite! I know your mind is spinning with confusion! Well that's okay!
Strobing is basically Highlighting your face, on the normal places you would highlight, right where ever the sun hits. But Strobing is just intensified! As we know The gorgeous Natasha Khalid the Makeup artist says 100 watts technique!
(this picture doesn't belong to me)
Here is a diagram which shows the spots on your face for strobing or highlighting.
Well you must be wonder, SO?? Whats new??
Well since you know I said above Its just intensified, So when the light hits your face, the more highlighting parts will up, that will automatically narrow down the rest of your face.
Let me just tell you, it does save a lot of blending time that contour takes. I've been enjoying this technique very much!
Now how do we intensify it??
Well we start with a liquid, cream or whipped highlighter first of course!
So here's the technique
First Start off with priming your face,
Then take your regular foundation and mix the liquid or cream highlighter with it. Half part each!
Apply as you regularly would and finish off your makeup just as always.
Then take the highlighter again and apply it to these areas shown above.
Top these areas with powder highlight and voila!
DONE!
Now if you think this is too intense!
then go ahead and mix the cream highlighter with your primer instead! and apply regular foundation.
That way you'll look like your glowing from within!!!
So what you guys think??
Will you give it a try!?? If you do.
